One of the most hyped parts of Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary is the Grande Giro parade, a four-day grand tour that will feature over 350 Lamborghini supercars, all of which began their tour at Lombardia, Italy before it finished off at Bologna on the 10th of May. From there, another day of driving ensued before the parade of Lambos reached their destination at company headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese on the 11th. Needless to say, the whole parade was chronicled by Lamborghini itself. That’s what happens when you celebrate your 50th birthday. You take the time to make it as special as it can be. In addition to all the special-edition supercars that Lamborghini has unveiled as part of its celebration, including the absolutely bonkers Egoista, the Grande Giro parade has to be considered one of the finest ways to blow out the candles on Lamborghini’s 50th birthday.

2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Race Car

The British automaker recently announced that it will bring three very different race cars to the event. Two of them, the championship-winning V12 Vantage GT3 and the record-breaking Hybrid Hydrogen Rapide S, are particularly noteworthy for pretty different reasons. The third and last one, a close-to-production specification 2013 V12 Vantage, probably won’t get as much attention as the other two. But that doesn’t mean we’re not going to show it the love it deserves. This is the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Race Car and it was designed and developed particularly for this weekend’s race. Far more than just being dressed for the party, the V12 Vantage Race Car also comes packed with a 6.0-liter V-12 engine that delivers a stout 510 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, good enough to allow it to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds and go up to a top speed of 190 mph.

Bugatti Veyron Joins Dubai Police’s Crazy Fleet

Imagine the Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF, Aston Martin One-77 and Chevrolet Camaro SS all in one place. No, we are not talking about the cars that would occupy our dream garage; we are just talking about the cars from the insane Dubai Police fleet. To make it even crazier, another supercar has just joined the lineup: the Bugatti Veyron. So, let’s figure out how many horsepower the fleet now has at its disposal to catch bad guys. there’s 700 from the Aventador; 660 from the FF; 750 from the One-77; 426 from the Camaro SS; and 1,001 from the Veyron. That gives the Dubai police force a total of more than 3,500 horsepower! Hopefully it has a very large stable and a stacked bank account to go along with it. The problem with the Veyron is that the police officers could be forced to end a chase early, considering the huge gasoline appetite the Veyron has.

2014 Aston Martin CC100

As promised at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Aston Martin unveiled today, May 19, 2013 at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring race the exceptional CC100 Speedster Concept - a vehicle specially designed to celebrate the company’s centenary. The CC100 made its debut by lapping the the circuit together with the 1959 DBR1 - the model that inspired. Behind the wheel was Aston Martin CEO Dr Ulrich Bez. The new CC100 measures 4,5 m (177.16 inches) in length and 2 m (78.74 inches) in width, and, according to the first details offered by the company it features hint at potential future design direction. The CC100 had both the body and the interior made in carbon fiber and is powered by the latest generation AM11 naturally aspirated V12 gasoline engine mated to a six-speed hydraulically actuated automated sequential manual transmission. The Speedster can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a little over four seconds, while the top speed is limited to 180 mph.

2011 Ferrari 599 by Team 50

Ferrari 599 GTO for example. This is brought to you by Team 50 and as clearly evident from the paint, it’s been dressed in colorful band of colors with matte black occupying the bottom part of the car with some touches of gold on the stickers. The upper part appears to be a digitized blue camouflage with a French flag on the hood, the British Union Jack on the roof, and a small Swiss flag on the side deck lid. We don’t know what the deal is with those flags, but overall, this 599 GTO looks absolutely amazing. Then again, “amazing” is par for the course at the Gumball 3000 Rally.
