2014 Volvo XC60 R-Design

Under the hood the Volvo XC60 R-Design offers the same engines as the existing lineup of the model with the exception of the diesel. You may choose between the 3.0 liter, V6, petrol turbo with an output of 325 HP or opt for the Polestar software upgrade that fine tunes the engine and increases the horsepower to 329 HP. Along with a more powerful engine, the Polestar upgrade also affords you with a flashy gas pedal. You will benefit from increased acceleration from 0-60 MPH in 6.9 seconds. The powertrain is combined with an automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The new chassis is firmer and lower than its predecessors. Coupled with the existing electronic control systems such as the Engine Drag Control and Advanced Stability Control, this car handles extremely well.

2014 Jaguar XKR-S GT

The XKR-S GT is engineered with some of the most advanced aerodynamic features known in the industry. This has resulted in a car that is uncannily responsive to the driver. To compliment the new body design, it comes with a super-charged 5.0 liter V-8 engine and a six-speed transmission. All of these features combine to give the XKR-S GT the ability to go from 0 to 60 in a neck-snapping 3.9 seconds with the top speed of 186 mph, or 300 km/h. Just as impressive as the acceleration is the revolutionary carbon ceramic braking system of the XKR-S GT. Such a system has never before been engineered for a Jaguar automobile.

2014 Buick LaCrosse

As the 2014 Buick LaCrosse approaches, the first thing you will notice is the attractive waterfall grille. The Buick logo is displayed proudly and prominently in its center. Then in the evening your attention may be drawn to the new elegantly styled wing shaped LED headlamps. Day or night you can't miss the newly sculpted hood. The rear is accentuated with chrome all across the bottom portion of the trunk lid. The chrome strip is a continues from the top of the wraparound LED taillights. Once again the Buick logo is featured on the center rear deck which is topped off with an integrated rear spoiler. The spoiler and LED tail lamps are both distinctive and functional. The spoiler increases the cars aerodynamics and the LED brake lights illuminate instantaneously.

2014 Cadillac CTS

After a restrained reception in 2008, the 2014 Cadillac CTS debut was greeted enthusiastically as the premier mid size luxury sedan that has grown in popularity over the past 6 years. In its third generation, the rear drive CTS will be the lightest vehicle in its market segment, offering the best handling vehicle available in its class. This American beauty will be built in Lansing, Michigan beginning this fall. Under the hood you'll find the same 3.6 liter V6 that came with the second generation Cadillac CTS. This is a good thing as the 321 HP is plenty of power to pull this "carriage" with superb handling characteristics. An economy 2.0 liter V4 is expected to be offered and could wind up as standard, depending upon production costs and customer feedback. Either engine will come with an 8 speed paddle-shift automatic transmission.

2014 Volvo S60 R-design

Volvo unveiled the 2014 S60 R-design trim at the 2013 New York Auto Show. The S60 R-design is a performance oriented model that is expected to attract the younger generation towards Volvo cars. The R-design aims to bring sportiness to the existing Volvo line up and improve visibility to showcase the performance and dynamic handling of their cars. The S60 R-design is powered by a turbocharged 6-cylinder 3-litre engine that generates 325 hp and torque of 354 lb-ft. The engine has been mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the car comes with all-wheel drive capabilities. Thanks to the innovative Advanced Quick Shift transmission, the time gear shift time using paddle shifts has been reduced considerably, which helps in generating unequaled performance figures. The S60 R-design does the 0-60 mph sprint in 5.9 seconds. There have been tweaks done to the suspension system to improve the handling of the car.

2014 Citroen C4 Picasso

Citroen will offer three diesel and two gas engine options. One of the gas or petrol engines is an inline 4 that generates 118 HP, while one of the diesel engines available is the 1.6-liter Blue HDi 150 will be Euro 6 compliant and comes with cruise control alongside the classic 6-speed manual gearbox. Citroen introduces a 6-speed clutchless transmission that can switch between auto and manual at any given time. Starting with the first half of 2014, Citroen will also ship the new C4 Picasso with fully automatic transmission.
