2015 Audi R8 Will Loose the Weight but Keep the Muscle

The trend towards replacing bigger naturally aspirated engines with smaller ones using forced induction has become industry wide. Performance models have been seeing the same treatment, and one might think that the R8 would be a prime target for just such a change. After all, the 5.2-liter V10 and 4.2-liter V8 are practically ancient in modern engine terms, and the new 4.0-liter twin-turbo twin-turbo V8 developed by VW Group has been finding its way into nearly everything of late.
