The GDT (Gene Dickirson Team) Speedster was a one off sportscar built by a group of automotive proffessionals as a private project. The team was comprised of designers, modellers, engineers and fabricators. Powered by a Chevrolet LT1 V8 engine from the Chevrolet Corvette, the GDT Speedster is capable of 170 mph and a 0-60 time under 6 seconds. In fact most of the drivetrain including transmission, differential, suspension, steering and brakes comes from the Corvette.
