The Jaguar XFR is the high performance version of the Jaguar XF. Designed to compete with the some of the best sports saloons on the planet like the BMW M5, Audi RS6, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Cadillac CTS-V, the XFR is equipped with a suitably potent engine.Powering the Jaguar XFR is an all-new 5.0 litre V8 engine fitted with a Roots-type twin vortex system (TVS) supercharger. This engine develops 510 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and 461 lb-ft (625Nm) of torque @ 2,500 - 5,500 rpm. The engine is connected to a 6 speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The transmission is controlled using Jaguar's unique twist-style electronic interface mounted in the centre console.
