This hand-built hot rod constructed from a variety of Volvo components and a featuring twin turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine is a creation of Leif Tufvesson. After Volvo became aware of the T6 Roadster they invited the car to be shown alongside the XC70 AT concept at SEMA 2005.Construction began on the Volvo hot rod in 1998. It was built with extreme attention to detail entirely by hand in Leif's own garage, using his own tools. All components of the build are OEM Volvo parts. The T6 Roadster is powered by a modified 300 horsepower twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter inline 6 engine, kindly donated by a Volvo S80.
